It would be a great calculator if not for the millions of ads that pop up at the most inopportune times. Like when u need a quick calculator but instead ur standing there from anywhere between 30-180 seconds waiting for an ad to be over just to use it.

Since new update, now we have stupid ads for the free version. Should remove ads when using only basic functions. They should have applied it to only new users. Ads come on top of the keys in horizontal mode. Lame calculator, don't waste your time. It's a good thing there's 100s of free calculators apps out there.

Website claims "simple, open source Android apps without ads and unnecessary permissions" but now a calculator needs network access, to view network connections, and ad permission. Seems developer sold out. Edit: I didn't skip terms. I had this app installed for years and even donated with Simple Thank You. Terms were changed secretly. Even the images in app listing say no ads.

I just want a simple calculator that does everyday things like calculate time, measurement, and money. Unfortunately it doesn't have any of that. It's really hard to use a calculator for everyday things when it doesn't have those things in the first place. I am really tired of these calculator apps, they are either too simple and only have use in schools, or they have way more features than the everyday person uses. I'm not a scientist nor a student, I want calculator I can use offline.

Used to be a simple calculator with unobtrusive ads. Now it is slow to load and after it loads you must wait through a full-screen ad to get to the actual calculator.

This app used to be good. Now it takes forever to load up (30 sec-1 minute) each time and they've got full screen pop up ads on open. The banner at the bottom was enough already. Nobody wanted a full screen ad just to get to a claculator... Unistalled.

Looks like a nice basic calculator. Uninstalled. I would keep using it if one thing was different. When adding a long string of numbers, only the recent two numbers shows, making it hard to check that my typing the numbers is accurate. There is a history, but that displays a long string of addition as multiple equations, should be all one equation.

Like the app. A few things that I'd prefer: 1. When doing calculations with a long string of equations, it doesn't do it like a scientific calculator (ie. x and % first) but instead doing it as you key in each problem. Would be great to have that as an option instead to have to manually separate those calculations on our own. 2. I saw the devs replied to someone else that one can change the colour, but that's for paid app only i think. Free a few colours would be nice.

Interface is okay now. But this is too basic. Somebody mentioned in comments that it has advanced features. Am i missing something? Also it feels like too many icons at the top with history, settings, info, dots. All these can be shoved into 1 icon and make use of gestures to draw history. If it could show the output of the calculation as we type in realtime it would be awesome 😎. I guess I'm too used to Google calculator 😉

I don't know what these devs are on, but $64 a month to remove ads on a CALCULATOR is beyond ludicrous. As in, they can say it's not a scam, and technically it isn't, but that's pretty scammy no matter how much lipstick you put on it.

Love the idea behind a simple calculator that doesn't need permission or is owned by big tech. Unfortunately, like the other reviews have said, I need some basic things sin, pi, etc. Most important, I NEED brackets. Without brackets it makes it hard to do even some pretty simple calculation. Once that is added, I can't wait to use this app.
